Public Input Sought for Naming New Theatre at Queensland Performing Arts Centre

Public input is being sought for the name of the new theatre at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC). Construction of the new theatre is over 85% complete, with the venue set to become the largest performing arts center in Australia under one roof upon its opening in 2026. The Queensland government is now inviting the public to participate in the process of naming the new theatre, with entries closing on May 10, 2025.

The Crisafulli Government, leading the construction efforts, has initiated a public consultation to allow Queenslanders to vote on their preferred name for the new theatre or propose alternative suggestions.
